2019 Women’s Only Triathlons & Duathlons in the U.S. & Canada

3 female triathletes with bikes

Make 2019 is your year to “tri” a triathlon! Yes, you can swim, bike and run (or power walk!) from start to finish. How do I know? Because I’ve done them myself. Yes, triathlons are challenging and that’s one of the many reasons to do one!

Consider participating in a women’s only triathlon. These events focus on camaraderie, fun, and encouragement. You’ll hear plenty of gals saying “Excuse me!” or “Sorry, didn’t mean to bump you!”

See? You don’t have a reason “not to tri.”

Below is a comprehensive list by state and province of women’s-only triathlons of varying distances slated for 2019 — 56 events in all! Many offer duathlons (run-bike-run), aquabike (swim-bike), and even a aquathlon (swim-run). These options make entering the multisport world even easier.

Did you miss an event? Check the organizer’s website for information about next year’s race.

Can’t find a women’s only triathlon that you may of heard of or participated in before? Visit this page that lists a number of discontinued, on-hiatus, or revamped events for 2019, including cycling and running events.

Bookmark this triathlon listing page because it will be updated as information is received or discovered. Let me know of any additions, changes or corrections, too!
