The action takes place on Friday, July 7 at South Fayette High School outside Pittsburgh.
The first race starts at 8 a.m. EDT with the women in the 70+ age groups. At 9:10 a.m., women in the 65-69 age group will toe the start line. At 9:50 a.m., women in the 50-64 age groups will finish the morning competition. Start times may vary, based upon the conclusion of the previous women’s and men’s races.
The Weather Channel is forecasting mostly cloudy skies with good chance of scattered showers. Winds will be mild.
How the Women’s 1500-meter Race Walk Starting Roster is Organized
- The roster is first organized by five-year age groups, beginning with 50-54.
- Athletes are listed in alphabetical order by last name.
- State names are abbreviated.
- Competitors doing all race walk and power walk contests are noted with this ⊗ circle-times symbol.
- Names and times appearing in bold text denote National Senior Games record holders.
- Remarkable efforts are highlighted in bolded red text.
- The athlete’s past 5K power walk in the events below are listed by the walker’s age group, order of finish, and finishing time:
