Looking Ahead: 2025 National Senior Games
While the San Diego Senior Games’ Masters Fitness Competition is not a qualifier for any event or sport at next year’s National Senior Games, this event will give you an inspiring look into “what’s possible” on your journey towards improved fitness and endurance.
The National Senior Games Association added Powerlifting to its 2025 open-sports schedule, meaning it’s a “Sign Up & Show Up” event (a.k.a. prior qualification at a state senior games is not required).
The Powerlifting competition is comprised of squat, bench press, and deadlift. Awards will be presented for first through eighth places in each age division. I plan on doing this next year!
