Registration for the Nevada Senior Games triathlon, the state qualifier for the 2019 National Senior Games, has been extended to Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018.
“This change is to better align with the Las Vegas Triathlon organizer’s registration time line,” said Bonnie Parrish-Kell, the Nevada Senior Games triathlon coordinator. “Plus it gives triathletes age 50 or better another opportunity to qualify for the national championship.”
Set for Saturday, Sept. 29 at Lake Mead National Recreation Area, the Las Vegas Triathlon sprint race will serve as the Nevada Senior Games triathlon. Athletes first sign up at NevadaSeniorGames.com. They will receive a special 20 percent discount for the Las Vegas Triathlon sprint race fee at BBSCtri.com/lasvegastri.
