Here at Home Depot, I saw dozens of bees buzzing around the lavender plants…but NONE on the other flowers like roses, violas, tulips, or even the very fragrant jasmine.
Makes me wonder if those bees know something we consumers don’t such as the other flowers don’t have the nutrients the bees need.
Maybe that’s why I didn’t have any bees in my garden last year — not enough bee-friendly flowers.
Or was it because the flowers and veggies I planted weren’t what the bees needed?
Maybe it’s not what we need either.
