My appetite is raging today…all because I’ve gotten less than my usual seven to eight hours of sleep the last two nights.
My day started at 4 a.m. in order to make my 5:30 a.m. Core Strengthening class. I had one slice of gluten-free cinnamon raisin toast with a thin spread of peanut butter and about a half cup of black coffee. When I got home I made breakfast with scrambled eggs and diced ham with another slice of toasted gluten-free cinnamon raisin bread in the center (a lazy way of making French toast). An hour had barely passed and I felt hungry again.
Though it’s now time to have lunch, I’m also going to fill up on water. That will help keep hunger at bay because often we mistakenly think we’re hungry when actually we’re thirsty.
Tonight, I’ll go to bed early to ensure plenty of sleep and rest. Hopefully tomorrow, my appetite will have calmed back down.
